Jeez give me a fecking break. I am sick and tired of people banging on about Lars and his pet gorilla, Hetfield, like they are metal's answer to the fecking Beatles. Before you start on me, I was there when Ride the Lightning came out, I bought it on black vinyl and picture disc versions back in 85. I loved them too, when I was a dewey-eyed, 14 year old thrash fan and I kept buying up until Load, hoping they would get their pompous heads out of their asses! Now this, they are to become a computer game? Jeez, I like a little fun, metal can be funny, actually comical is more the word, I like Bad News, Zimmer's Hole, but christ on bike, the Metallica PR machine rumbles on milking the cash-cow for every last drop! You want to mime to Metallica and look a complete dick? You don't need to spend 250 sovs on a console, a 20 quid CD player and few discs then do it in the privacy of your bedroom, not in your living room, in front of the telly where everyone can see you, else they will be calling the men in white coats! More people like the Black album than will admit. While it's not my favorite, it still has it's moments. I just hope when they build the characters...or band members, however you want to say it, they make them in old and new era. Well maybe just old. I would love to see Cliff on the game! I'm not sure the format but I hope they throw some of the covers from Garage Inc in there as well. Like the Mercyful fate covers and misfits covers.
