Im not big nu metal fan either. Im into all metal genres and yes plenty of math core (meshuggah, converge, coalesce, botch, cavein and also a ton of math grind and hardcore bands. Intelligent people are able to appreciate multiple genres of music.

David actually discussed how my town helped start their career during the MAAWII tour when the “legitimate” rock venues wouldn’t have them in Chicago.

I swear, sometimes I think that a lot of these “real metal fans” are bitchier than a pregnant woman. Maybe you should try listening to some emo. They feel the same way you do.

And on the “we’re the conforming posers” thing, try this on. There are more of you on here than Disturbed fans. What do you do? Do you sit around all day drinking “awesome beer”, listening to “awesome music”, and just generally soak up each others “awesomeness”?

I don’t get it. I see you all writting such intelligent insights as “David’s a douchebag.” But, why do you think that? Is it just because he’s successfull and you believe that it should be another band that’s successfull? And you all seem to hate us, the fans, so much. Why is that? Is it because we’re what made them successfull? Or is it you’re pissed that every once in a while one of us comes along with the intelligence to put up a good fight and make you question your own logic?

I’m not putting down any band. Because, I think DEP does some wonderful work on the instrumental end of the deal. Their lyrics just don’t have it for me. I am a huge Disturbed fan and have been for somethin’ like 11 years. I love the lyrics. And, I know that’s why most of you would burn me at the stake.

And, I made the mistake of reading the home page. Then, I go read a comment that says, “F*K Disturd.” LMAO….I thought this site was supposed to be for intelligent conversations about music. And, for people who post shit like this, you do know that the sites name is metal sucks not suck metal…put down the lead paint.
