TOMMY LEE GOES GREEN; STILL AN IDIOT

Thursday, June 5th, 2008 at 3:09pm by

A couple of months back I reported the sham that is Tommy Lee and Ludacris’ attempt to be “green” by going on a reality show in which they compete to see who can be the most eco-friendly. The show, “Battleground Earth,” will air on the brand new channel Planet Green, which launched yesterday. Tommy and Luda have done an ad spot for the channel in advance of their show, which can be viewed below [via Idolator]:

Funny, sure, but Tommy Lee is still an idiot and this show is still a complete sham designed to make money off the current “green” trend. Fuck it. Fuck it hard.

    I swear, these f’en “green” celebrities are starting to piss me off. Who the f*ck are they to tell normal people to go green. I don’t know how many homes that ass owns, but I’ve seen one of them. It 10 – 15 of my houses and 10 – 15 times my land. And this ass is telling me to go green. Tommy, take your green and shove it up your ass.

    Reminds me of that shithead Madonna. She was on stage at that thing that was sponsored by Gore. The concert all around the world thing that turned out to be a joke. She’s jumping up and down on stage like a fucken baffoon and she’s telling the “normal” people to conserve energy. Madonna owns 9 homes. Something like 50% of them are fully staffed 24/7, so that she can hit any one of them on a moment’s notice. She was flown there on something like 3 private jets and was then driven to the concert in a stretch limo. Which I’m sure had nothing less than a gas v-8.

    When Tommy Lee and Madonna live down the street from me and use the minimal energy I am using, then they can tell me to conserve energy. Until then, suck it…

    Battleground Earth? At first I was thinking
    “Battlefield Earth”, and wondering why my hungover Saturday afternoons watching TBS were going to involve John Travola and Tommy Lee.

    Amen to that! There’s some celebrities who are going mega-solar power and I respect that but us poor regular every day schmucks with normal day jobs cannot afford to do that anytime soon. I’d like to get a couple electric producing windmills but even a cheapie used to keep a barn lit is nearly a grand. It’s easier to be “green” when you’re rolling in it.

    I’m surprised he (tommy lee) didn’t say some like “fucked 139 women with the same condem, saying rubber trees all around the world”, but it’s obvious that “Hepatitis Tommy” doesn’t use condems.

    @Muttweiler

    Agreed, I think I read something about Gore’s electric bill being $30,000/year. And how that’s low for his house because he uses all kinds of solar power. I just ran the calculations and that amount of energy would power my house for over 19 years. So, if he’s going to talk the talk, he should be walking the walk.

    I don’t begrudge these people anything. If they can afford a house (or houses) like that, so be it. It’s not my job to tell them what to do or what not to do with their money. On the other hand, don’t give me this bullshit about saving the environment, when you are living in 9 homes and spending 10′s of thousands in electric a year. That my friends is the definition of a hypocrite.
