HEAR THE NEW SLIPKNOT SONG, “ALL HOPE IS GONE,” IN ITS ENTIRETY

Well, speak of the devil. Check out “All Hope is Gone,” the new Slipknot track, below. I have no idea if this is a legal rip that Roadrunner themselves put out or if I’m breaking laws by posting this, so give it a listen while you can.

    Slipknot has never really been my thing, but I actually like this song. I’m actually pretty excited to hear the rest of the album.

    the heads on the album art look like the ones from the in flames video.

  7. Jason says:

    Well, it’s been deleted. It was good while it lasted.

  8. Jason says:

    Hey! It’s back up. =D

  9. jaime says:

    wow, that was really, really uninteresting.

  10. jesse blake says:

    I really like what Corey’s doing with his voice now. There’s so much more conviction in his scream. He’s got a lot more low end in there too.

    This is the year that Slipknot and Metallica redeem themselves. Mark my words.

  11. Sammy says:

    Sounds like Corey decided to go back to the Slipknot sound and not slightly heavier Stone Sour. And bravo to adding guitar solos.

  12. Microz says:

    Ooouu. Something New :) On the strart drums sounds like our Vader ;P But nothing special.. Slipknot – Slipknot is still their the best album.

  13. Ryan says:

    Wow. I wasn’t expecting much after the last album, but this is really pretty good. Wonder if the rest will be this good.

  14. Erin Carter says:

    I really just dont see how any real fan of metal can find a way to hate on that song, and i can only hope that album is full of sweet solos like that.

  15. dude that sucks that they took it of!! PUT IT BACK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Jason says:

    It was bound to get on YouTube eventually.

    Mwahahahahahahahahaha.

  17. 36Thoughtless says:

    I, for one, really got into metal as a result of “Vol. 3″, but I don’t care for this song. It’s almost like they’re being brutal for Brutality’s sake.

  18. Erin Carter says:

    With all due respect…most bands are not “Brutal” on accident.Heavy music is generally written that way on purpose….plus these guys have always been a lot heavier than most people have been willing to admit anyways, they just stepped it up a bit. I liked Vol.3 ok i guess but this song to me is far and away better than anything at all off of that album….to each his own I guess.

  19. MIKE says:

    How can anyone that calls themself a SLIPKNOT fan not like VOL.3. Respect the bands artistic decisions to venture into diferent territories. The new song is awesome and I can tell they are growing musicly. You don’t acomplish what they have and not grow. They are still f*****g heavy.

  20. Jim Gilletowicz says:

    Jasons link is still alive…that was fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. NuMallCore Pwns Yo Mama says:

    The links were down when I went to listen. Just as long as it’s not like Iowa. That album was pretty much a bad rehash of Mate Feed Kill Repeat. I liked the self titled and Volume 3 albums.

  22. Eric says:

    How can you like self titled album and vol 3 but not like iowa?

  23. Jason says:

    @NuMallCore Pwns Yo Mama

    The YouTube link I posted a couple of comments up is still working.

  24. Cam says:

    I was never really into these guys all that much…I’m a pretty casual slipknot fan, but I’m kinda excited for the new stuff.

  25. Walker says:

    Still in love ten years later.

  26. Kye says:

    Does anyone else find it surprising that we’re 25 comments into this and there’s no war about Slipknot’s talent?

    I was expecting a band that’s gone multiplatinum, wears masks, is heavily (and in my opinion quite wrongly) associated with the numetal movement, and going on tour with Disturbed and Underoath to spark some A7X, Disturbed, and Bullet style arguments.

    Kinda disappointing I must say…unlike the new song, which rocks ^_^

  27. Jason says:

    @Kye

    I think it’s because Slipknot’s talent hasn’t been watered down by commercial pressures. Slipknot are still making their music the way THEY want to.

  28. Jason says:

    I would like to point out that, now both of the videos aren’t working. BUT, you can download the song here;

  29. MIKE says:

    I’ve been listening to metal since I was 13 years old. Im 34 now. I don’t consider SLIPKNOT numetal. I havent been excited for a new cd from a metal band like I am about SLIPKNOT’s cd in awhile. Except LAMB OF GOD but we’re talking about SLIPKNOT.

  30. YOU CAN LISTEN TO “Psychosocial” for free right now on this site called http://www.iHeartMusic.com/slipknot
