THE NEW WALLS OF JERICHO SONG IS DEFINITELY A SONG

Friday, June 27th, 2008 at 2:13pm by Axl Rosenberg

You can listen to it on their MySpace page if you want.

It’s called “The American Dream.” I can’t understand what the singer is saying but if I was a bettin’ man, I’d wager the lyrics aren’t really about rising to the top via good, hard work and due dilligence. Tom Morello must be so proud.

The band also has a new album coming out. I’d tell you more, but I get bored just thinking about it.

I think I’m gonna go take a nap.

You know it’s going to be a very well thought out and eloquently put together song when the first line is “FUCK THE AMERICAN DREAM”

Oh man does this band suck. I can’t think of one decent thing to say about them.

    Move to Germany, fascist!

    I LOVE GUNS!!

  6. Cisco says:

What’s the deal with the upside down star? I mean is it supposed to be a pentagram? Shadow’s Fall uses the same logo with a SF in the middle of it… I don’t recall SF being satanic at all, are these guys satanic?

  7. In all seriousness says:

It’s probably more of a reference to the whole U.S. stars and stripes motif…

  8. TJ says:

Ya, pretty sure a star is just a star in this case. Not implying any Satanism or anything.

    Agreed.
And the star is almost like “we don’t want to potentially alienate our christian audience but at the same time we need to attract unsuspecting metalheads.”

After about 15 seconds of listening, all I wanted was to take a nap.
