Love ‘em all! (proud Masshole) I can’t wait to pick this one up. And dead on about BHBS. Putting KsE on hold for a while would be a great time to get BHBS back together. Seemless is also very sweet… more rock influenced than metal, but definitely great music.

Blood Has Been Shed was nowhere near as awesome as Overcast was. Overcast’s “Begging for Indifference” EP is a fucking classic.

I generally hate albums full of re-recordings, but I’m mildly interested in this because some of Overcast’s early work had less-than-stellar production. I’m sure I’ll stick with the original “Begging for Indifference” release, though!

Overcast is a great name for a metal band. Its kind of like “we’re called bad weather, but not that bad, just like if you had plans for going to the beach, well then we’re really bad news!”
But I guess if I had to choose between “OVERCAST” or “SHIT! BILLY BOB, I THINK ITS GONNA RAIN, HURRY UP! GO FETCH THE LAUNDRY” I would go for Overcast aswell.

…not to mention guitarist Pete Cortese, who went on to play guitar in the underrated Seemless, which also features former Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach and Derek Kerswill, currently playing drums in Unearth. The Massachusetts metal scene is pretty incestuous!
