NEW ENSLAVED ALBUM ON THE WAY!!!

So apparently Enslaved have ditched Candlelight for Indie Records. That’s not especially interesting news in and of itself, but what is interesting is that the announcement includes word that a new album, Vertebrae, will drop in September.

That means that Nachtmystium are gonna have at least one major opponent for the “Black Metal Album of the Year” title.

This news makes me so friggin’ excited, I have no choice but to post the band’s video for “Isa.”

    The great thing about Enslaved is that they don’t go through trying to be tr00 and kvlt and just went in the musical direction that they felt like doing, which was more atmospheric and progressive.

    That’s freaking awesome. I’ve discovered Enslaved 3 years ago, and I’m just all into albums like Monumension and Below The Lights. They all sound really different, but still clearly Enslaved albums. They have a unique sound and bring up atmospheres I’d never felt before, that’s why I respect them so much, because in these days, it gets harder and harder to be special or unique as a band.

    Definately gonna “blind buy” the new album, fuck it :) Enslaved for president.
