Remember when Dimebag was alive, Vinnie Paul wasn’t in a band that sucks, and Pat Lachman wasn’t a fill-in guitarist? Yeah, that was pretty cool. Stew on that as you get stoned on this sweltering hot, swampy summer Saturday.
Damageplan – “Pride”

I remember when Dimebag was alive, life was so much better then, well, music was. *sigh* I love this song but now you made me cry inside :(

My favorite track off of that record and Lachman’s best vocal performance on the record in my opinion. Speaking of Lachman, if you wanna do an article on a whatever happened to them kick ass band, post us up some good reading on Lachmans previous band Diesel Machine, definitely a band that never got the recognition it deserved.

Probably the best song the Abbot brothers made after Pantera. Dime was a truly unique guitar player. RIP.

Glad the heatwave is nailing you guys, too.
Personally I’ll always prefer “Soul Bleed” (one word?) by Damageplan. Smoking to that is a nice afternoon.

In my opinion Vinnie wasn’t in a good band since Exhorder’s – The Law. Oh wait thats not Vinnie! That sure as hell isn’t Phill either. So thats where Pantera got their sound from after being glam metal in the 80′s and James Hetfield of Metallica spit on their picture of Bon Jovi! I still like CFH and Vulgar, thats about it. And yes Dimebag was a great guitarist. RIP. But Damageplan, Down, Superjoint, and late Pantera all suck ass!!
Joe. A
-1 point for Metalsucks. Damageplan were never good.
Swampy music to get stoned to? Why not put on something good? Like any of the Down albums.
