ANOTHER HUMAN ABSTRACT TEASER VIDEO

Are you guys excited about the new Human Abstract album Midheaven yet? Because holy crapticles, it’s going to be awesome. The madness begins on August 19th (Hopeless Records); but for now there’s a new video teaser to tide you over thanks to Hot Topic. Does it make up for adorning thousands of pre-pubescent teens in Slipknot hoodies and parachute pants? No; but at least Hot Topic’s done something good for metal.

    Amazing band.

    End of story

There was nothing abstract about that crap!

  • e1esk

can barely hear anything but the vocals… its a shame if the whole album is produced like that considering they have some top notch guitarists

  • Master Chef

They need to mix album again. Like e1esk said, I can’t hear the guitars that well either

Don’t know anything about the band – but I’m assuming since this is the teaser that this is the best song they have on the album – in which case I’m going to run away like it has the plague.

  • Joe A.

Another crap-tastic metalcore band with no balls and no ability to try something new. This site gets a little bit worse every time something like this pops up. How about some reporting on real metal? I’m starting to think this blog’s title fits it more and more.

i’ll be thinking of you guys when i am watching The Human Abstract AND Protest the Hero this Sunday.

something tells me that Joe A. didn’t even bother to listen to THA for more than 2 seconds to realize that they are one of the more brilliant in inventive bands to come along in half a decade… something also tells me he tosses off to DevilDriver.

  • ZapBranigan

One of the albums I’m very much looking forward to, can’t wait. I’m supposed to see The Human Abstract & Protest the Hero in 1 week. I’m super stoked.

  • Joe A.

@b-rad. Ha, you’re a funny one. Go enjoy your metalcore/emocore Warped Tour playing anti-metal.

I’m perfectly fine listening to some Sepultura and Mercyful Fate.

As for “new music”, there’s plenty of it, but you’re probably too afraid to get your feet wet with Black Metal, Death Metal and Industrial music.

  • b-rad

apparently Joe A is one of the 3 people that bought the new Mercyful Fate album? As far as too afraid to get my feet wet with death metal and black metal… um, i am in a death metal band that you have probably banged head to on more than one occasion, been to countess death/black metal shows because i am not an elitist music snob that puts their nose in the air when a band that is doing something far more interesting than lame ass Diecide comes along and mark them off as “emocore”. far too many people use that as a crutch for being closed minded. as far as industrial… no, i don’t like industrial, because i don’t have a vagina.

  • Joe A.

Can’t say I’m not curious as to what aparent Death Metal band you were/are in, but that’s your choice to reveal.

New Mercyful Fate? There hasn’t been a new Mercyful Fate album in almost 10 years.

Deicide I’ve liked a little bit, but they’ve always seemed to be overrated compared to Autopsy, Morbid Angel or Atheist.

As for Industrial, hey you’re the one out of luck if you refuse to check out some of the classic albums by Ministry and Skinny Puppy.
