WORST METAL SONG EVER FEATURED IN WORST MOVIE TRAILER EVER

Everything about this makes me queasy. With The Dark Knight breaking every conceivable box-office record known to man, I’d hoped we’d enter a new phase of maturity in not just our action movies but our action movie marketing. Alas, it’s not to be.

The director of this little flick, Lexi Alexander, has been fired off the film, by the way – as has her composer. Seems the studio wants to use this kind of crap throughout the entire film. Ugh.

The name of the band that wrote that little ditty is Ramallah, by the way. I want you all to know so that if anyone ever asks you “Do you wanna hear some Ramallah?” you’ll know how to answer.

    Wow!! That was amazingly crappy!

  2. bucketochicken says:

Judging from the trailer, in terms of cinematic quality I’d have to put that movie somewhere between “Hard Target” and “Save the Last Dance.”
Way to go, Hollywood. Keep up the good work.

  3. crackdaddy says:

heh.. am i the only one who enjoyed the song?

  4. matt says:

Okay, the song sucks. But how is that movie not awesome? Then again, I liked the Transporter…

  5. j cantrell says:

I have 0.000 interest in anything related to a punisher movie… way to ruin it Marvel

  6. Johnny Death says:

How depressing, i actually listened to that same Ramallah song/album this weekend and dreamed of the time when “white trash” rob’s music had something to relate to. Blood for Blood ment something. It seems to me that Ramallah’s music is everything BFB was not. Whiney little pussies.

  7. Cis says:

Wow, the song was pretty craptastic but damn, I can’t wait for the movie. I’m a comic freak and read the Punisher growing up among other titles. So far Elektra was the only let down in my book. The Watchmen comes out this winter as well!

  8. Walker says:

Could someone please put this music over the Passion of the Christ trailer.

  9. fightingmike says:

I think that movie will be pretty entertaining and i love that actor, but that song sucked. It sounded like a shitty Linkin Park b-side and totally outdated.

  10. Beeyotch says:

    Is that Titus Pullo??

  11. Elync says:

They should have used Megadeth’s Holy Wars… The Punishment Due. I mean, it’s about the Punisher, so why not make it they fucking theme song?

  12. chris carnage says:

Wow….WOOOW!…I’ve heard better noises come out of my anus after a night of taco bell & whiskey.Granted the song featured is borderline vomit inducing but I actually liked the trailer.Yes it’s over the top and the quality is beta/vhs worthy but the violence alone makes my taint itch.I’d go see the some bitch.Hopefully the soundtrack will have better music by time its released.

  13. Cam says:

That song makes me want to go out and buy a Tapout shirt.

  14. fortheloveofdog says:

Looks like a damn Brodsky metal video.

  15. CrapMcPoopin says:

It is Titus Pullo. And yes the music blows…. but at least it will be darker and more violent than the Thomas Jane version… despite Thomas Jane being amazing.

  16. hibernum says:

What the fuck? They just made a SECOND Punisher movie a few years ago.

The first Punisher movie had Dolph Lundgren with fake stubble and was awesome.

The second one had John Travolta and I didn’t bother watching it. Apparently no one else did either.

This third installment looks like the worst of the lot.

Let’s get Lundgren back. The guilty must be punished!

  17. enemyofgod72 says:

Wow the new Punisher movie going straight to DVD or was that a trailer for the new Punisher: the series on USA. Looks like you’ll be able to buy the movie and the soundtrack in a Wal*Mart bargain bin b4 it ever leaves the theater. Thanx Marvel for taking another of your best characters and letting it be ruined by writers and directors that never read a comic, did Ghost Rider teach you nothing?

  18. blen genton says:

if you’re like me and think that song may be the worst shit you’ve heard all day, look at the bright side… that band probably cancelled their summer tour too.

it makes me feel better that wigger nation won’t be playing shadow kung fu at local dives to this song.

  19. Blondin says:

A friend of mine made them play in Paris with Terror, The Setup and a few other hard-core bands two years ago. can’t say I really liked it but it was entertaining. They look just like some bad guys that jumped out of the Mad Max 3 video tape.
Song’s not so bad, sounds a bit nu metal but is OK.

  20. AVERSIONLINE says:

Ramallah’s fuckin’ great. Don’t like how the song was edited up over the trailer, but… the band’s fuckin’ good.

  21. Phil says:

I liked Ramallah’s first EP with Jacob Bannon on guest vocals for a few tracks. The keyboard shit makes the song a lot worse, I forget if it was like that on the album.

I totally agree with “Johnny Death” above.

  22. -gODGRINDER- says:

    Ha.

    Shitty song.

But that was a mighty violent trailer.

I’d be lying if I said I’m not often enthralled by movies that sacrifice plot, character development, etc. for gallons upon gallons of gore.

    Bring it on!

  23. Viletank says:

I love the punisher, its about time hollywood made a REAL punisher movie with REAL violance. None of this stupid john travolta shit. It looks like jigsaw is in it and hes a fuckin maniac. Shitty music aside the movie looks good to me but im a sucker for bad movies like this.

THey should never have used Ramallah theres a million better songs by better bands they coulda used.
