A BAND FROM SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN NOT CALLED THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER

incisorBecause sometimes our readers know best, here’s a track sent in by MetalSucks reader Joseph S. of the unsigned band Incisor, hailing from my one-time hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Apparently the band just released a new EP yesterday called Trendshitter, and — besides from getting awards in both the “awesome album name” and “awesome beards” departments — good God does it crush. Incisor’s 3-piece instrumental attack mixes elements of thrash, groove, tech-death and grind, but their sound is complex enough to be pigeonholed as neither. Through five damned years living in Ann Arbor all we got was Tally Hall; I’d've settled for a band with half the talent of Incisor. Sigh.

    killer riffs man but i would like lyrics and some growls man. it allows me to connect with the whole point of the song man. but otherwise really a brutal band

    Revrant…..leave the fuckin state if you don’t like it…but to put Detroit, Michael Moore and Incisor in the same sentence, is just ignorant. How do they thread together? I don’t get your comment at all…..go put a Bob Seger album on…clearly you are too stuck in a rut to absorb the importance of this band.
