Hi, guys im Rob, i dont understand you people! What do you want from us, to quit!? St. anger was shit right!? Well we heard most of ur complaints and tryied to get a better album, guitar solos, better lyrics, also oldschool tunes, but u still dont like it. You cant hate all the time, sometimes u gotta let it go. U dont have to buy our new album if u dont want to, if u wanna download it do it, just stop complaining about something that was made for you. We are not stealing ur other music from ur home, u can still listen to them if u like. I dont know how u can feel hurt for something so stupid (release of a new album, mainstream music, old guys trying to play, noisy snare drum, etc.) , most of u are acting like the motherfucker who killed our brother Dimebag. Please enjoy the music u like, metal ofcourse, because there might be friends of u out there that still like our music made with so much effort. Thanks! chill, dont kill!!!!

Rob , what the hell were you guys thinking ? go back to the old school stuff ? it just doesnt work ! you should have stuck with something around the lines of the black album . and in my honest opinion , was the best you guys had done since the “old school stuff” of which i liked a hell of a lot ( i know you werent in the band way back then ) but after black , im sorry to say but the stuff lacks the metallica punch dude … no offense intended …. and the new vid i watched off of youtube , well i dont like it and not hating on it but with an unbiased listen , i just dont like it and if the rest of the lp is like that , then im sorry to say that you guys are not going to be happy with the record sales on this one … im just letting you know an honest opinion from a long time dedicated fan and i have been there from the start with you guys but im getting worried now ….

Wow, if that actually is Robert Trujillio, he posts like a 14 year old girl. Regardless, Death Magnetic certainly isn’t my fave Metallica joint, I still can’t stop listening to it right now, and despite the commercial aspects of it I still find it pretty damn enjoyable. Bear in mind kids, many of the greats of Metal/Hardcore/Punk are praised for holding onto that token sound that made them popular in the first place. Motorhead, ACDC, Cocksparrer, Iron Maiden, and Sick of it All to name a few. I just wish we could see a return to the Social Consciousness prevalent on RTL the AJF, but whatever, I’ll take it. Can’t wait to pick up the Double LP tomorrow.
I am listening to the album right now and for those who are Metallica critics, if you denounce this album then you fuckers don’t deserve to have a single album by Metallica. Throw your shit away now. You all remember a certain band called Megadeth? They stayed all Death Death, Die Die Die and where the hell are they now? Metallica changes their shit up a time or 2 for the last 12 or so years and they are blasphemed for doing it but unlike Megadeth, you still hear Metallica on the radio. I have been a diehard Metallica fan since 1987 and despite all the critizism, if ever I had a chance to see them I would. St. Anger was different, but it wasn’t a failure. For those of you who think making music is easy try playing hard for 27 years and see if you can still be original and make shit that people haven’t made yet. I am a musician of 27 years myself and everything I try and write sounds like everything else. I think this album rocks. If you people want old Metallica all the time pick up a guitar and start a Metallica tribute band and be happy go fucking merry all the time. Peace!
this album is the best they have ever put out!!!!its a great combination of all previous tunes and just the one i was waiting for.from start to finish im marveled at what a kick ass album this is and it beats everthing previous.if master was released today it wouldnt fly like did back then,and metallica is smart enough to go old school while combining new type sound to it.my apocolypse is the best heavy metal song of the last 10 years!!!!!!!!!way to go guys,cant wait to hear this played live.keep kicking ass and watch this one fly off the shelf

Megadeth have a little tour called Gigantour which has featured the cutting edge acts as well as the classics and the most innovative. metallica has rlease 1 album in 5 years. Megadeth has 2 studios, 2 dvds and all the gigantour stuff. i actually thing metallica is a better band but for fucks sake, don’t post statements when you don’t know shit. Die.
