I just thought that you all would like to know that smoking letuce is the poo! You take a nice big oo head of letuce, stick it in a pipe, and start chiefing. Once you get hooked on smoking letuce then you can graduate to smoking T-shirts. Smoking T-shirts will give you super sexual powers. You will soon be able to stick large objects up your booty-ta. Then after T-shirts move on to smoking other things like toilet seats. Talk about a buzz, woo-wee I din’t think i was ever going to sober up! Have a great day, chud smokers!!!!!!

Malakian is a notorious giant lettuce smoker, so I’m not surprised at the half baked lyrics.

As much as it’s been hard for me to get past Serj’s vocals with SOAD, Malakian’s high pitched voice that permeated that band’s last two albums were, ironically, the sticking point, keeping me from loving instead of just liking, those records.

This is a great record and better than the Serj solo album (which sounded like SOAD B-Sides). This Scars on Broadway record is Mesmerize Part II and I love it.

I really enjoy this record as well. Like you said, don’t expect much from it, and you leave with a totally awesome experience.

I have to say, I really, really like this record. That may have been because I didn’t have high expectations though. As for the vocals, Malakian sounds much better than he did when he started co-singing on Mezmerize/Hypnotize. I think I ignored the lyrics because I believe they are supposed to be in the vein of shock rock. Not a lot of the Sex Pistols lyrics made sense (not that I’m saying that’s a good thing, just a point of comparison). Great review.

Haha great review, so dead-on about the Linkin Park lyrics. Would you recommend this for a fan of System’s later records (i.e., Mezmerize, Hypnotize)?
