I have been listening to them for 8 years now. I have all their albums and know every lyric to every song off of each. They are br00tal, and the first thing I have to listen to every day. Vince is such a nice guy, I talk to him at every show, and I fight my way to the barrier and he pretty much mic's my face, aka, I get to scream into it a lot :). There is no other band in this world that sounds like them, they are their own and they hold it down well, I love it. I also love how Vince has a "quote" for every show during each tour, like "I heard Acacia Strain fans are assholes, lets prove them right" or "Make like aids and kill", but he cares about all his fans no matter how much shit gets fucked at their shows, hah. They get right to the point by throwing it hard and heavy. I love the idea of the album and the breakdowns are far from cliche. Vincent outdid himself on the lyrics for sure, as you all can tell. I got into them a little after The Dead Walk was released...then i saw them live at SOTU last year and they tore it up. Everyone enjoyed their energy, and their sound. (The sound part may have been because they played after The Number 12 Looks Like You...) I also met and talked to all the guys in the band for a few mintues, and their all cool as fuck, and real down to earth dudes. They keep it real. I cant wait to go get this album tomorrow. And zach, the best lyric is "By the end, I'm going to be the only one standing." Multiple meanings, and influential words. The Acacia Strain is easy one of my favorite bands.
