BATMAN DIRECTOR HIRED FOR NEW SCARS ON BROADWAY VIDEO

Unfortunately, it’s not the guy who directed The Dark Knight.

No no, it’s Joel Schumacher – who, in addition to the franchise-killing Batman & Robin has brought us such gems as 8MM, Phone Booth, The Number 23, and the movie version of The Phantom of the Opera. So clearly, Scars on Broadway are going for quality here.

To give you some idea of what we’re in for, here’s the last music video Schumacher directed:

Sniffle, sniffle… that video makes me tear up every damn time…

This is the kind of headline that really motivates…’til you read the post… That was a nice one guys. You got me.

  2. It’s not the Dark Knight director? Dang! Schumacher’s all about flash, so maybe it’s not a bad combo.

Hey hey hey, 8MM was good!

The thing is, Schumacher’s a great director when he’s not fagging it up by doing shit like putting nipples on the batsuit. Notice that they left out that he also directed:

    St Elmo’s fire
    Lost Boys
    Flatliners
Falling Down (a personal favorite of mine)
    Tigerland
8mm and Phone Booth (They didn’t leave them out but I mean it as a GOOD thing)

Hell, even most of his movies that weren’t to my liking were directed well. It’s really just his work on Batman that pisses me off.
