Great, just great. This is just what we need. The Number 12 Looks Like You has announced that they are heading back into the studio sometime this week. They will be recording some shitty new album in some shitty recording studio in shitty New Jersey. It is official, my day is ruined. bleh

I’m neither here nor there on the band in question, but that is some serious vitriol the likes of which only Axl Rosenberg reaches from time to time. For some other entertaining diatribes about the likes of Funeral For A Friend, Thursday, The Maine and more, check out FuckThatBand.com.

I’m still smacking myself on the forehead for not registering that domain name years ago. D’oh!

    Dude…these guys are lame. Your site kicks so much more ass, it’s not even funny. And as for The Number 12 Looks Like You, say what you want, but those guys can SSSSHHHRRREEEEEDDDD. Listen to their most recent album, Mongrel. Some of the best musicianship I heard that year.

    I appreciate the link, and will check it out. But on this subject: your guys’ biting sarcasm has definitely been toned way down, for whatever reason. Maybe it’s all the guest bloggers softening you guys up, I don’t know. But I want way more “MetalSucks” attitude, OK?

    @Luke: You think that’s MUSICIANSHIP???? I have one of their old records, found it in the used bin for like 3.00 and i’m glad i didn’t pay more than that. I heard and saw them play at SOTU 2007, they blew worse than fucking Necro, in their home state to boot. (Necro dropped off the tour if you remember due to “lack of interest.” READ: WAS FUCKING BOOED OFF STAGE SO MANY TIMES!!!!
    You want real musicianship? Go buy Between The Buried and Me’s entire catalog. Or take a real good listen to Darkest Hour. Those guys can fucking play.
