Already torrentled the album leak. Very good stuff indeed. I didnt really know anything about them when I saw Amarth at Download, but now i’m really looking forward to their set when I see them support Slayer next month.

    I love these guys.
If this record doesn’t make you want go burn churches and pillage a small village, you have no soul.

I’d just like to say that that is probably one of the most badass album covers in the history of music. Just an opinion, but it is totally the right opinion.

God damn I love the classification “Viking Metal”.

I will be at Slim’s without a doubt.

This is what I have come to expect from Metalsucks.

I’m going to attempt to forget about your sloppy/whiny post about Pink Floyd in place of this righteous Amon Amarth post.

    Oh…

“and anyone who DOESN’T like Amon Amarth deserves to be struck with a flaming arrow from across the battlefield.” Straight up.

Dunno about you guys, but ”Guardians of Asgaard” seems like the weakest track they’ve ever done to me.

The rest of the material fucking owns.I’m not going to download this since I do support Metal Blade and am also a promoter for them, but I have to say I do hope there are more raw moments on the whole.

Looking forward to hear this. These guys always come up with killer records that you never get sick of hearing.Doesn’t matter if some songs aren’t as powerful.Doesn’t ruin anything in the grand scheme of things…

    But yeah.Was my two cents.

While Guardians of Asgaard IS the weakest track off the album, the album itself is amazing. Definitely in my top 5 for the best metal albums this year.
