This isn’t True. The solos on the song “From So Far Away” were recorded by Rusty Cooley. Chris Storey wanted him to play on the album, and this is his track.

This album is fucking awesome. It got much more variation in tempo, riffs and vocal style than The Price Of Existence and is really an album you listen from begin to end. Is Awaken The Dreamers better then their previous album? Don’t know, I think they’re just different.

Great review! and i agree that the album is fucking awesome but not as good as ‘TPoE’ and maybe a hair too short. I purchased this album today though.

These guys cannot make enough albums. The first time I saw them live, my friend (his first metal show) got a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. That’s metal.

This album is still very very good. Like All That Remains with Overcome….its very hard to top a past album which was the defining moment in a bands career. I agree with axl that this album still is very heavy but needed 2-3 more full tracks to be a sick record.

I completely agree and it seems to be a common impression.

Not as good as “The Price of Existence” – but to be honest, not much (if anything) is in this genre. Still a fine release, I can’t complain.
