Enslaved early albums are top notch Viking/Black metal. Some of the best you can find actually. That they were written when the guys were still in their teens (or barely out of them) makes them even more amazing. Great stuff. I loved the last three albums (including this one) and these guys are in a league of their own. I wish this album had a little more bite, but the fact that it's exactly the opposite of 'in your face' makes it a really easy album to listen to all in one stretch. I couldn’t agree more.
