This is great news. I know alot of Soilwork fans disagree but Stabbing The Drama is one of my favorite metal albums all time and I thought “Sworn” was a steep drop off. Now Peter’s back so I hope the next offering is f’in’ brutal.

Fuck yes! I thought Sworn To a Great Divide was a pretty good album, and to see that Wichers is coming back spells a great new album out of Soilwork next time.

It’s about fucking time Darkane came to California too. I’ve been listening to those guys since I saw them with Soilwork a few years ago in Sac and I haven’t fuckin seen them since. It’ll be nice to actually recognize their shit this time.

I counted I think 3 blast beats on the newest album. Gotta mean we’re looking forward to something, since the last 3 albums just didn’t do it for me. This is spectacular news though, I hope the next CD will nail Scar Symmetry. Though I heard Dan Swano was gonna be the new singer for ‘em, so I don’t think Soilwork can compete anymore.

IIRC, Peter moved to Nashville with his wife and family in order to be close to hi quality studios so he could produce. Wonder what happened to that whole thing? Any way you slice it, I am very happy that he is back in Soilwork. I loved PTTWM which he wrote most of.
