The glass from him breaking the window almost landed on me and another employee. He hid up in the palladium and then Scott Lee and a few others went up and found him. Hate to argue with God, but I figure I’ll throw my 2 cents in. Why would Opeth complain? wouldn’t you think the venue/hotel owners would be the ones complaining?

They didn’t ‘drop off the tour’…they got kicked off the tour by century media. Opeth complained that they were trashing venues and hotel rooms, they then called century media and asked for Blake and company to be removed from the tour.
“Circumstances beyond our control”. HA ! Any of you that wanted to see them should be pissed at the band for screwing over their fans.

They were never playing the show that I was going to, the bill has said(since like July/August) that it was Opeth/High on Fire/Baroness

Now I’m just slightly pissed that bands always pull this shit down here in the southern waste that is the Carolinas. Like when I saw Black Dahlia Murder and instead of Hate Eternal, I get Animosity and when I saw Dark Tranquillity and Arch Enemy decided not to be there -_-

Weren’t they already scheduled to be replaced by Baroness soon anyways? I have tickets for oct 6 in SF and its billed as Opeth/High on Fire/Baroness.

Woah, you read my mind Axl. I was at the show last night in London, Ontario and pretty much everyone was wondering where Nachtmystium was. I was looking forward to seeing them, and I know I wasn’t the only one.

Dammit. I was really hoping I was going to see these guys 4 times this year. I must be sure to catch the Wolves in the Throne Room gig.

Will there be a replacement to go on before High on Fire? Or will it just be the Opeth/HoF double whammy?

Rising gas prices? Um, gas prices have fallen over 10% in the past two months. If fuel costs were an issue, wouldn’t this issue have kept them off the tour to begin with?
