BON JOVI’S NEW JERSEY IS ALMOST OLD ENOUGH TO LEGALLY DRINK, WHICH WOULD MAKE IT TOO OLD FOR RICHIE SAMBORA TO FUCK
Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 at 11:00am by Axl RosenbergOur friend Allyson over at Bring Back Glam points out that today is the 20th anniversary of Bon Jovi’s hair metal masterpiece New Jersey. I’d be lying if I said I never got drunk and did a karaoke version of “Bad Medicine,” so, to commemorate the event, here is Bon Jovi playing “Bad Medicine” live in 1989.
Richie Sambora, if you’re reading this: love those pants, duder.

I’m pretty sure that’s the greatest headline of this blog’s history.
I learned how to play drums by playing to the New Jersey album.
Now, 20 years later, I’m not a very good drummer.
In 5th grade, I sat in the media center (library) with my walkman and played Bad Medicine until I learned all the words. Still a great song!
Christ, that was the first non-Rodeo show I ever saw (I’m from Houston and Mom worked for the Rodeo; thus, I have been to many shows at the Rodeo).
I was in 4th grade during the New Jersey tour. It wasn’t until I was in college that I realized that Dad smoked out at the show.
holy shit, fuck every last person in those crowd shots.
