Even though the album fails at times, I'm glad they didn't settle with the tried and true sound of "The Price of Existence." Great effort, just a good-at-best album. I can't wait to hear their next. Once the initial effect wears off the songs seem pieced together awkwardly featuring riffs that collide with other riffs clumsily instead of seeming streamlined.
