IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT

Because sometimes a little Whitesnake is just what your day needs.

Let it be said that this is one of the best karaoke songs EVAR. Especially at the end of a long night of drinking when everyone is about to fall over. Not that I would know anything about that.

There is absolutely no reason why this song should be over 6 minutes long…..

I really hoped Led Zeppelin would close their reunion show with this. Have there ever been worse ‘strings?’ But yeah, this is the fucking jam.

I still like “Here I Go Again” more.

C’mon, it starts off with all three stringed instrumentalists playing keyboards. ALL THREE OF THEM.

Because sometimes a little Tawny Kitaen is just what your day needs.

Is it just me or this glamcore? That one riff with the pause in it sounds like a breakdown if I ever heard one. Now that would be a sweet genre.

I totally agree. This song is annoyingly amazing.

i can’t wait to see them live on november 13th in cyprus!

Haha, what was Coverdale back then, 50? Still touring now, one epic dude. And the hairspray to oxygen ratio must’ve been quite high during that shoot.

Vince, did you sound as awesome as this guy’s karaoke version? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXvTFSwjNts
    woo!

That breakdown riff sounds like Entombed’s “Stranger Aeons,” and the Hatebreed songs that totally rips that song off, “Smash Your Enemies.” Maybe they both ripped it off from Whitesnake?

Point is: “Here I Go Again” was the heaviest thing I’d ever heard at that point. That riff in the chorus is slammin’.

oooo David Coverdale you’re the Roger Moore of rock and I can’t Tawny Kitaen myself!
