Meh, they really aren’t that great of a band.

Maria isn’t an amazing vocalist by any means. The dolling up for stage shows and photo shoots imply overcompensation and you know there’s a problem when your DEMO sounds better than your DEBUT album. I’ve seen them play twice and they were OK both times. Never great, never horrible.

They could get better, but I doubt they will. I think they’ll ride on the “Hey guys, look at our female vocalist.” path until her looks (which are OK, not bad, I guess.) give out.

They need to drop the 90s preteen lyrics, get a heavier and skillful riffing style, get Maria to stop wearing those stupid-ass babydoll dresses onstage and MOST DEFINITELY MARKET AS A WHOLE BAND. Not “Maria and these other dudes.” It isn’t that hard…

In my opinion, you gave this album 2 and a half horns too many. I gave it a listen, start to finish somehow, and it sounded like Evanescence but worse. Sounding worse than Evanescence must count for something though, because that is certainly not easy to do.

this band deserves a grammy after that rating. seriously out of everybody i know who likes metal and has heard this band, they all think this is pure garbage. i hate to say this but i would rather listen to new korn then listen to this shit. maria brink, even though not to bad on the eyes, suck. i hate to be sexist but women should not do a man’s job
