I like The Red Chord because they don't take the whole metal thing too seriously and are actually in on the joke. They have a reverence for metal and put alot of work into their music, but can bust out with the funny stuff at any second. I'd like to see more bands like that! It's a great way to counter attack pretentious douches like Sully Erna and his WAY SERIOUS band Godsmack. "o.k. guys, now in this part of the show, I have to show off that I can play drums too. So we're going to have a second drumset come out of the stage and then we'll have a drum off!" Either rock out and kick ass, or don't. Do give your stupid gimmickry!
