VILLE VALO IS A HIPPO

Looks like Ville Valo is joining Mike Patton, Dee Snider and John Bush in the “Metal Singers with Voice Careers” club. Metal Hammer reports:

“HIM frontman Ville Valo will star in the animated movie sequel Madagascar Escape 2 Africa.

“Ville will be voicing a hippo in the movie alongside Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer. Whether or not the hippo will wear black eyeliner is unclear at the current point in time.”

Before any HIM fans get too excited, check out the trailer. This movie looks so bad I bet they’ll start using it torture prisoners at Guantanamo.

    in the second movie, the other hippos name(the one ville will be playing)is moto moto

    Ville’s not doing the voice of Moto…Will.I.Am did the voice.

    This is the second time I’ve seen Ville’s name “rumored” in attachment to a major movie (first one was that he was doing the theme song to Quantum of Solace) and each time it being not true. I’m wondering if he’s getting passed over for these gigs or if they were ever true at all to begin with??

    Oh well…all I know is that it’s been too long since I’ve had a live HIM fix so I hope they do another tour soon…..

    Sorry…my bad….Ville is doing Moto’s voice in the FINNISH version of the movie.

    Will.I.Am is doing the english version.

    So I guess I’ll have to learn finnish and go to Finland to hear Ville do a really sexy hippo voice.

    I think it’s great that Ville is trying to expand his horizons, but I dont really think he enjoyed doing this kids movie. Whatever he decides to do next… I just hope he enjoys it :)

    yo man ville valo dosn’t suck he is the my gothic guy and if u don’t like it then don’t watch his movie i love it and he should keep up what he does best trying new things for change and at least he trying his best acting so kiss his butt if you don’t like it then u aint his fan u may be fake. fans should be by his side no matter if he suck or not u go ville valo im with you all the way baby
