CHINESE DEMOCRACY NOW HAS VIDEO PROMOS, BUT STILL NO WORD FROM AXL

Sixteen short video promo clips for Chinese Democracy have landed online; I’m not clear if they were supposed to be released already or this is another case of someone blowing their GN’R wad too soon. In any case, all sixteen clips are more or less the same, but they use different pieces of different songs. I’ve only posted one (number ten) below, because it features a song we still haven’t heard, but the dork board GNRBar.com has a link to download all sixteen in high quality Quicktime files.

Two quick observations:

1. “America Will Have Chinese Democracy” strikes me one of the dumbest ad slogans in recent memory… not that most Americans will even notice.
2. Axl still has made no mention of the fact that an album which he’s been working for years and spents untold millions of dollars on is coming out in just a month. This strikes me as suspicious, to say the least. So, for now, I’m gonna stick by my assertion that the album isn’t actually coming out. But judging by the comments some of you have been leaving on this site, you don’t give a fuck anyway.

Chinese Democracy may or may not be coming out on November 23, but looks for the last three songs we still haven’t heard to leak any second now.
