If you’re in the mood for a horror movie because Halloween is coming up, there’s better fucking things you can rent. For fuck’s sake, just watch John Carpenter’s original Halloween again. Just don’t send the message that we want more of these inane fucking movies.
ANYWAY, here’s some shit that happened in the world of metal this week.
- Guns N’ Roses finally sent a single to radio and confirmed the release of Chinese Democracy. Enough of you cared enough to tell us you don’t care.
- We interviewed Opeth and 3. Progginess ensued.
- God Forbid’s new album got a title!
- Winds of Plague’s Kristen Randall thinks she’s Gloria Steinem. Thinking logical human beings everywhere strongly disagree.

The movie ‘Let the Right One In’ comes out tonight, and it actually piqued my interest as I generally don’t see much horror/scary movies at all. I’m definitely going to check it out as it looks pretty freakin’ original plot wise, I suggest anybody else go and a check it out as well.
The Saw franchise is ending after the 6th one.
And fuck you, the series kicks ass.
I don’t agree with Metalsucks. See Saw V, be informed before you have an opinion unlike the people who run this site and constantly mouth off. Also, go see “Let the Right One In” like Cisco said, as it won’t disappoint.
Seriously, I’m tired of all internet fanboy anti-Saw bullshit. Look, I love old horror movies as much, if not more(wanna compare collections?), than the rest of you but if you think the Saw movies aren’t great horror flicks, then it really has been too long since you’ve gone back and watched anything but Halloween and a handful of other classics. Tell people to protest bullshit pg13 wannabe horror crap like the “Prom Night” remake at least. Or the 500 asian horror remakes(not that I have a specific issue with remakes, just shitty ones). “Let the Right One in” looks great too. Also, if and when it becomes available, get “Midnight Meat Train” damn it.
Now, let me go pre-order 200 tix for Saw V on fandango just to figuratively shit down the throat of this metalsucks bloggers decapitated corpse.(how’s that for some horror movie imagery?)
@l2s: I watched Midnight Meat Train earlier this week on Fearnet.comHD and thought it was excellent. Also, even though I am a metalSucks contributor, I am a big fan of the Saw franchise. I still haven’t watched Saw IV so I don’t don’t plan on seeing V any time soon.
Did you catch Quarantine? I heard the Spanish original, [REC], was much better.
Saw is an okay series, but who gives a shit because new God Forbid Album is coming out in 4-5 months! Earthsblood is a really fuckin good name… i cant name my songs for shit ha
Corey, I haven’t watched Quarantine. To be honest, I’m sick of the “blair witch” style films. They tend to make me queezy from the shaking camera work and the novelty has just worn off with me.
it doesnt matter if nobody sees it this weekend they are making the sixth so it doenst matter. plus i saw the movie and it was great. one of my favorites from the series.
