Derek, in his own words, specifically did the tours and the recording for the money, not for being a member of a band or anything else and Steve didn't cough up, apparently. Both seem really sincere so it's more a matter of Derek's word against Steve's but I would be more inclined to agree with Derek because I know that he's not the type of dude that would join an underground band. But i agree with a lot of what is being said steve is a pretty intense character and i wouldnt be surprised if much of this isnt in some way coloured in his favour, but then when isnt that the case in interviews. Still cool interview regardless!
