WHOEVER MADE THIS EXCELS AT WASTING TIME
Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 at 12:57pm by Axl RosenbergI think it’s officially safe to say that this crosses the line in terms of having wwwwaaaayyyy too much free time on one’s hands…
If you have Excel and would like to view this video in all its Microsoftian glory, you can download the original here.
Thanks to MetalSucks Maniac Jesse for sending this in.

I’m surprised huge AC/DC fan and Excel master Ed Rivadavia didn’t create this.
ah, if only my excel knowledge came anywhere close to my (mostly useless) knowledge about AC/DC. This is a pretty cool app, though. It’s so old school it’s cool. And if you know the first thing about the mass, Walmart-buying, American AC/DC consumer, then you’ll appreciate the utilities of something like this.
Finally! Now my argument that Excel should have a “Make AC/DC Video out of my Spreadsheet” button won’t fall on deaf ears.
Some say AC/DC have faded away, but no I can disagree that was awesome. Real talent.
LOL -this headline is totally cracking me up. Seriously, more puns, guys.
xD are you serious?
freak ^^
This is absoultely amazing!
Sorry to burst your bubble guys. but this person did NOT actually re-create the entire video in excel. if you rename your video files ‘.mpg’ or ‘.avi’ format to something else you can actually view the video in ASCII, or is it if you just open them in something else… i cant remember which. anyhoo…
…heres a link to an example of a similar process used on a clip from Family Guy!

or just type Family Guy ASCII into the search bar on youtube. if you want to see someone who REALLY wastes there time type in ‘How to watch the STAR WARS ASCII Movie on Vista’ into youtube, I’d Like to thank my smelly nerd brother for wasting his own time to show me these things and myself for wasting my own time to show you how to waste your time!
