Battlelore’s new video for “Third Immortal” goes beyond “over the top” to downright ridiculous and laughable, even for pagan metal. But even in their extreme dork-dom, you’ve gotta respect these Finns for following their muse — All of Battlelore’s lyrics concern J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth. THAT is metal.

Good lord, that is hilarious. Still, I love Battlelore even if they are cheesy as fuck. The new album kicks ass, and Kaisa Jouki is a great singer. (OK, she’s hot, too.)
