Great interview.I really do feel for these old school BM bands because they don’t have that rawness in them anymore.What Gruttle says is absolutely.It’s very important to mature as musicians.Of course my fav Enslaved albums have been Frost,Eld and Blodhemn.But I have no problems with the sound they are producin even today.I really regret not seein them live in Delhi.But I hope these guys come back to India someday for a gig.

I actually drank with them after their show at B.B. Kings. One of the coolest guys I ever met.

I remember Ice Dale stood up on the bar counter and started dancing, then he slipped and almost knocked over the Jager tap.

Its cool to see people who are Idols in your eyes acting like belligerent drunks, because it reminds you that they’re normal people just like you and me.

It’s always nice when a band from the original second wave is that open to expansion in black metal.

Hell, it’s nice when someone from the second wave isn’t a pretentious douchebag in every interview they do
