Monday, November 10th, 2008 at 4:00pm by Axl RosenbergOur friends over at Metal Injection posted this cell phone commercial starring a certain Prince of Darkness, and I gotta say, even though it continues to make Ozzy look like a man who is battling Alzheimer’s and mental retardation, it’s pretty funny (And is certainly much more enjoyable than anything on Black Rain. Or Down to Earth. Or the last 270 Black Label Society albums).
The entire Osbourne clan apparently just signed with the William Morris Agency, so expect to see them in lots more ads like these in the coming months.

Ozzy can be articulate when he wants to be, he just chooses to speak in that fucked up speech that he uses because he grew up talking that way. I mean, go listen to Perry Mason or Mr.Crowley or his small speaking role in Little Nicky. “Here, Kill him with this.”

Cullen, no offense, but all your supporting info is flawed. Those are more like examples of when he HAS to be articulate. I’m just saying, i really doubt that he got any of those references spoken correctly with the first take.

I have to agree with JU4NM4. I thought Black Rain was the best thing the Ozzman has put out since Diary of a Madman. The fact that Oz is still alive makes him a walking, talking(kinda) repudiation to every psa you’ve ever seen. At an age that most of us would be thinking of retirement Ozzy was downing several bottles of Absinthe and nearly killing himself on an ATV. Now that’s fucking metal!
