My friend lived upstairs from Matt Caughtran, the singer for The Bronx for a good part of a year back in 2006-07. The dude was really cool, we played lots of basketball and he threw some good parties. They’re just a punk rock band playing more straight ahead rock n’ roll, if you’re looking for metal go elsewhere.

I haven’t heard this yet but liked the past two releases. Check out Matt’s other band, Bullet Treatment; it’s just rip your face off hardcore punk. Good shit, better than The Bronx.

I caught that awesome Mastodon/Converge tour a few years ago as well and The Bronx have still never caught on with me. I’ve accidentally seen them twice since then, still nothing.
