So speaking of Robin, I’ve seen him on tour with both Gn’R and NIN. He’s amazing.
I’d like to see him back with Gn’R but I think that Trent offers him a better creative outlet.

Regardless, I dig “Chinese Democracy”. May not be the best thing ever, but it’s good rock music and that’s what the world needs right now. People have mixed feelings about “Death Magnetic” but it’s a good band jam record and well done. I certainly my have my gripes about the lyrics, but anything that will help eradicate this bullshit hipster Paramore/Fallout Boy/Panic at the Disco/etc. crap that’s been going around…

I’m really not looking forward to hearing this. I just think it’s very dated and is going to be way over-produced and overrated.

I love the whole virgin analogy though. But I think this is going to be one of those times like when you waited and worked so hard to get in to that really hot chicks pants and when you do it’s like fucking a bowl of warm, loose pudding. Not that I’ve ever fucked a bowl of pudding, I’m just sayin’. You can say ‘yeah…I hit that, but it wasn’t all that.’ I don’t know where I’m going with this, but I can say that I’m diggin the new Mudvayne.

Personally, I think the first single is better (not a pun, promise) for luring in the non-GnR fans, a simple balls out rocker of that proportion is getting rather big in the UK from what Ive noticed over here.

“Better” is a little annoying, it’s a solid, basic song with appeal, but the solo is cack and generally Axl’s vocals aren’t great.
