IF ALL ELSE FAILS, AVENGED SEVENFOLD CAN ALWAYS FALL BACK ON A CAREER IN THE MARCHING BAND

If I were Avenged Sevenfold I’m not sure whether I’d be ecstatic or downtrodden about the use of my band’s song during a college marching band’s half-time show. Ecstatic, I think.

    ..the ideas kinda cool….

But it does sound a little wank at times..

  • Sammy

Are you kiddin’ me? They should feel ecstatic about it! Talk about the ultimate cross-over.

  • Fantum

Wow that surprised me with how good it actually is

  • Senior Swanky

I think I prefer the SOAD version of this better.

  • Sam

Is it a bad thing that I dont know what song they are playing?

Reasons for feeling conflicted about this little diddy. Number 1: For some reason I’ve always hated marching bands. Number 2: I do enjoy Avenged Sevenfold. Number 3: There is nothing metal about batons.

  • ERiK

The marching band did a good interpretation of the song. Well done.

  • OneRodeToAsaBay

I was in marching band once and I’m glad our band directors never stooped to this level of fail.

    Fuck. This.

  • mr lun

thats not a marching band thats a standing band

  • Iron Mayden

freakin’ sweet. Sounds kinda jumbled and incoherent at times, but it’s one hell of a song to try to tackle in a marching band! Overall, pretty awesome. It really beats hearing “Iron Man” for the billionth time.

    @ Sam
