I noticed that “that” douchebag hasn’t posted yet. So I’ll play the role of “that” douchebag, for debate.

Since this is a metal website, you probably don’t go clubbing or dancing or whatever. Well, the main point of this music isn’t to achieve art status. The main point is to get people dancing, get people energized. Its sorta similar to bands like Hatebreed in that the songs aren’t really that complicated. However, get in the pit and that shit doesn’t matter. Same thing, only replace the pit with a dance floor.

That said, even when compared to bands like 3OH!3, Brokencyde is pretty terrible.

The saddest part is I know people who would listen to this. (To give you a clue: the same guy who, upon me saying ‘Guess who I’m going to see in February?!’ [referring to the Soundwave festival and Lamb of God, In Flames, Devildriver, ATR and NIN] replied with ‘OH NO, PLEASE DON’T SAY METRO STATION!’)

I honestly never thought something that terrible could exist. Once again, humanity has outdone itself. Congrats on lowering the bar yet again, guys.

This band serves at least one purpose: to unify us all in our hatred towards them.

We may disagree on various bands within the genre, etc. But, I think we can all set aside our differences and just wish the most horrible diseases upon these dudes.
