The mind boggles when it comes to the video for Russian metallers ANJ’s “Gorbachev”; how could such a shitty band make a video so amazing in so many ways we don’t even know where to start? We think the mojo for this video’s inspiration lies with the pectoral-flexing man at 1:30. Dude could seriously use one of those free t-shirts that All That Remains are giving away.

    The beginning riff was pretty good, but then the dude started singing. He sounds like the singer from Gogol Bordello, which works for gypsy punk but not so much for metal.

    Still, that video was fucking great. Who comes up with a Conan-like Gorbachevkilling Soviet zombies and then celebrating on the beach? Genius.

    Polka beats in a metal song? That’s awesome! Twinkies shooting jizz? I hate videos and I loved this one. I’m not really sure what stripping chicks have to do with a warrior with a Gorbachev birthmark killing zombie generals has to do with anything, but it is a truly fantastic vid.
