So here’s my 2 cents, I’m not against Metallica, they’re a helluva successful band and all credit to them, but if you want to start comparing them from a musically virtuous perspective either collectively or individually against Winger, they’re not in the same solar system.

Anyone who would not know that, probably never went further than Alfreds Chord fingering dictionary or has never picked up an instrument at all.

In response to that pap smear “Dave” who suggests that winger are a bunch of “80′s burnouts” and who hates “Glam metal” perhaps you should see if you can find a remote island somewhere so you can remove yourself from society and the grid thus minimizing the risk others around you being infected with your cerebral necrosis!

As for the individual known as “Enemyofgod72″, – to infer that Kip Winger has no talent clearly indicates that you may have unknowingly at some stage been in close proximity to “Dave” somewhere, hence I would book an appointment at a Neurosurgeon for an EEG if I we’re you, just to get checked out!

Kip winger is not only a Bassist/Guitarist, who incidentally plays keys as well as programs a lot, but is a songwriter, composer and producer . . in other words “a complete musician”.

Lars Ulrich on the other hand is who exactly? what has he written?, what can he write?

When compared to a technical wizard like Rod Morgenstein who is a Berklee Graduate and Teacher, no answer is actually necessary!

In response to “Joe A”, if your predictions for the future are correct we seriously need to look at a better education system for the kids and address social and moral decay with the utmost of urgency to prevent the spread of further uselessness and apathy.

The only drummer in rock and roll worse than lars ulrich is meg white, but he’s a close second. And his doucheness is unparalleled. Lars needs to get bent.

There’s definitely something to be said about a band that reached it’s arguable peak being subliminally insulted on Beavis and Butthead by having their stupid sounding name plastered on some loser kid’s t-shirt.
