I will state that I feel the best part of the song was the intro. The piano intro gave me goosebumps.

As soon as the singer came in it went downhill.

Whoever the fuck is in Taken By Trees need to be lined up and sumarily shot in the face. Fuck that was horrible! If the filmmakers thought this song belonged in their movie I think I’ll skip it.

@Joe I’m more than a little tired of all th horror movie remakes but I’d love to see someone do The Thing justice. The special effects were decent in Carpenter’s original but could be done so much better today.

it’s funny that you mentioned this cause i just saw this trailer for the first time last night. unimpressed by the song, and being a huge horror/slasher movie fan, i probably won’t like this remake. i have yet to see a horror remake that i thought did the original justice, except for the first The Hills Have Eyes remake.

I dont know about the song, but can we all discuss this remake. This remake, will bomb horrifically. For one, Tony “bad guy from Ghost” Goldwyn as the revengeful father! I mean seriously, they couldnt get ANYONE else for that role. Lance Herikeson, Dennis Hopper, FUCKING CHRISTOPHER WALKEN would be perfect for that role. Also, did anyone really like the orginal in the first place? I mean, its ok, its not a horror classic. It wants to be one cause it was Wes Cravens horror debut but its not a classic by any means. If they want to remake horror movies how bout The Stuff, C.H.U.D, or hell I would even take a Monster Squad remake but only with the new horror titans. Imagine a group of kids taking on Jason, Freddy, Pinhead, Leatherface, Myers. It be hysterical, hardcore R rating, but hysterical nonetheless
