STOP YOUR BITCHIN’: HERE’S SOME MORE NEW LAMB OF GOD

3207478870_c4c871a070_oEver since Vince jotted down some initial thoughts on Lamb of God’s new album, Wrath, there’s been a lot of belly achin’ in our comments section about wanting the damn album to leak already. Which got me thinking: remember back in the day when albums didn’t leak, and you actually did have to wait for the proper release date, at which point you actually had to go to the store and buy a copy? What pagans we all were! HOW DID WE EVER LIVE?!?!

So while you’re waiting so desperately for the album to leak, go to AltPress.com to check out a stream of another new LoG track, “Set to Fail.” I know it’s one of Vince’s favorite tracks off the album, but I think you guys have yet to hear the best Wrath has to offer.

    Sounds pretty good to me and I am not a huge LoG fan. It is more interesting than their previous output, IMO. I am actually looking forward to the release, where I will actually BUY the CD.

    This track has a Pantera feel to it more than anything on Sacrament does, but I really dig it, especially the solo.

    I hope it’s just my crappy laptop speakers, but the drums sound really high in the mix.

    Other than that: AWESOME TRACK.

    LOG keeps getting better, and Blyth sounds more and more like Anselmo with each album (and no, this isn’t a bad thing). Quality stuff, as we have come to expect from these fellas.

    So far, the tracks released are pretty strong and I have a feeling I’m going to like this album more than Sacrament. I have to say that I prefer Randy doing his growl thing instead of him trying to sing. So many bands are trying to sing and I think the growl helps set them apart (let alone the great guitar riffs and incredible drumming).
