WHY ARE THE FACELESS THE LUCKIEST BAND EVER?

The more I listen to Evisceration Plague, the most I wanna have Cannibal Corpse’s abortion (And it’s streaming on their MySpace page right now!).
The album just rocks so fucking hard, and it makes me so happy to listen to, I really can’t even begin to tell you.
So. By June of 2009 – not even a full half way through the year – The Faceless will have toured with Cynic, Meshuggah, Arsis, Misery Index, The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravanganza, and, now CANNIBAL FUCKING CORPSE.
(And Neuraxis! And Obscura, who I don’t really know, but hoo-ray for exclamation points!)
Normally I would now write something along the lines of, “I don’t know who The Faceless blew to get on so many awesome tours, but now I do know why they all have such great skin” – except that, oh yeah, I fucking love The Faceless and named their 2008 release Planetary Duality my #2 album of the year. So, y’know, good for them. Hopefully only good things are gonna happen for these dudes, ’cause they deserve it.
Here are tour dates. I am actually considering getting on the MetalSucksCycle and driving to Poughkeepsie for this thing. And I vowed I’d never go back to Poughkeepsie. Never!

I also am not a fan of Cannibal Corpse, although there is just no fucking doubt that they are [one of the most] important bands in heavy metal history. I also have not heard the Faceless…but I’ve heard they are sweet, so they are on my short list. I hope I didn’t just lose my credibility…
im a little surprised to see a good show is actually coming to the chance. i spent almost every weekend there two years ago, but ever since theyve seemed content to gargle the balls of endless cover bands. woo poughkeepsie!
AND they’re on the CA death fest in anaheim with Carcass!
Why do The Faceless hate Boston so much?? Not one of those tours described above went to New England.
You don’t know Obscura? One of the best metal bands to come.

HAHAHA!!! when i first read the brief descriptions on google saying “faceless, the luckiest band ever?” i thought who does this fucker think he is??? I mean im not a fanatic fan of the faceless ( i dont know if there is such a thing YET) but i did listen to their album planetary duality and thought it was really quite impressive. as i read on i kept thinking “i cant believe this guy’s ripping on them” interesting twist in the article ;-)
