“…gotta love Soilwork! its Soilwork goddamit!”

The splendidly worded (and completely, 100% grammatically correct) phrase above came from one of the Blabberbrats who was commenting on Soilwork’s new video for “20 More Miles.” And y’know what? I’m inclined to agree! Sure, this clip is the kind of slo-mo behind-the-scenes of a tour-type thing we’ve seen a million times before, but it still works, ’cause it’s fuckin’ Soilwork!

Don’t forget that Soilwork’s MetalSucks sponsored tour with Darkane, Swallow the Sun, and, depending on which date you attend, either Daylight Dies or Warbringer, kicks off this Friday. It’s gonna be a helluva time; get complete tour dates at Soilwork’s MySpace page.

Soilwork are one of the most overrated metal bands out there. More boring then watching paint dry.

People are entitled to their opinions. Even wrong ones.

On topic – When will they go back into the studio. I’m hungry for some new songs from them!

I assure you, one does not have to love Soilwork. Lousy American band that was mysteriously born in Sweden.

Overrated? How so? I don’t see all the hype and fuss coming for anywhere, which would actually have promoted them more – because they deserve the exposure.
    They’re very underrated if anything!

I”m going to have to agree with iolanach, Soilwork is overrated.

CREED AND NICKELBACK ARE MUCH BETTER. SOILWORK SOUNDS LIKE A HOCKETSTAINS. LOGS/FASINGS.

  8. jbomb says:

I think they were great on their first couple of albums.
Then they started being over produced and writing for the American market, sounding way too nice and clean for a metal band, which is really starting to plauge 90%of melodic death bands these days.
Live shows are still raw and powerful though, vocals much better than they sound on the albums
