You cant listen to ICP and think these guys are not talented rappers at all. The music isnt bad, on some songs, the beats are alright, and the whole “dark carnival” thing is kinda fresh. However about 60% of the songs they make are ruined by stupid lyrics and bad rapping. These guys do much better when supporting other acts, rather then trying to rap for themselves.
Both sides of this argument respond like retards, “your gay, your a virgin?”

Yeah dude. My ex-girlfriend was from Detroit and she was talking about local musicians. She mentioned the Insane Clown Posse. Then we both laughed it off. Although I still to this day am not sure whether or not she was joking (it really ISN’T her type of music AT ALL. I actually kind of liked her music). If she wasn’t, I will have lost all respect for her.

OK. It amazes me at the time and effort so many “intelligent” people will spend to sit here and trash talk two clowns. Who are the fools? Get a fucking life. I am a Neuroscience major and I am sure I listen to much broader array of music than most of the imbeciles on this page. I listen to much of what Psychopathic has to offer. Juggalo, I don’t know? I am a fan. Obviously it is foolish to take this shit too seriously as every idiot on this page has. Just because you like a group who does something that is not considered very artistic does not mean you have to be stupid. It is personal preference. Something can be catchy or entertaining rather than musical and artistic and still be worth listening to to the inividual. I like Mozart and Paco De Lucia aswell, it does not mean that I should only listen to such well defined artists because of other stupid people’s opinion. If you really hate ICP, ignore them. Obviously your miserable lives must trully suck to sit and waste your time on something you believe is so stupid. Infact, it is a complement to ICP that so many fools feel it necessary to spend their personal time and effort talking meaningless cyber-bullshit. You people need to get outside and broaden your horizons and think about what your actions say rather than your pointless words on a silly blog.

Ok ok ok. Nickelback sucks. Creed sucks. Trivium sucks. There’s a lot out there that just sucks. It’s just not responsible music. The artist’s never tried. The artist’s are not artists. I get it.

BUT! I, for one, am really glad that there are bands like Insane Clown Posse out there. Why? Because it really does nothing besides temporarily corrupt the naive and entertain the wise. The “juggalos” will hit a wall with ICP. I sure as hell won’t. My opinion will never change. Still funny. Always funny. Laughed my ass off at them when I was naive enough to like them (I liked other, equally shitty music back then, don’t get me wrong) and I’m still laughing today. It’s fucking rap-metal clowns. That’s amazing. That is so goddamn beautiful I cannot stop smiling.

So, can’t we just smile? I know we all need education in taste, (thanks Metalsucks). I know this shit is poison to kids but haven’t most of us ascended and don’t most of us ascend? I’m from Georgia and I live in Mississippi. I know the answer to that question. No, not really, they don’t. But I’m talking about anyone that needs to rebel, anyone that needs a release. Rednecks don’t really listen to ICP. Detroit white trash kids ain’t redneck. ICP won’t ruin your life. It might ruin your taste for most of your youth, but I’m gonna just assume there aren’t very many 30 year olds in attendance at ICP shows. Then again…I’m still young, slightly naive, and never claim to know anything unless I really do. I have no fucking clue how juggalos think, thank god. Maybe this is ruining lives, ruining the world. I’ll tell you one thing though: The good bands, the geniuses will ruin lives.

Rev – course I’m going to be condescending an arrogant, when the subject at hand is a shitty band catering to the “inbred white trash who want to be black” section of the American public (who will all be executed when I take over the world) and a snooty Brit who is as self-righteous as yourself.

There’s not really a whole lot to “grasp” with ICP – they’re a group who make some shitty noise, market it to aforementioned group. They’re about as topical and shallow as any modern band can be; ergo, I don’t really need to know the background of the band to know I don’t like the noise they make, I don’t like the band members, or to loathe the target demographic of the noise they make. Thinking thus, what’s wrong with me posting my opinion that they really fucking suck?

It’s pretty easy to label stuff “hate” in modern America (especially with society being the way it is now with special-interests groups) when you really have no good rebuttal to the people who posted things you don’t like. “He said he doesn’t like it, he’s a hater!” No, not really, I just dislike the subject of the topic and posted my opinion about it. If I disliked the band for no real tangible reasons and came in here to constantly post denigratory things about the band, yeah, then I’d be a hater. Such is not the case.

Yes I know, I live in Michigan, I know about ICP, I was thrilled to see DL post more of his trademark Ayn Randesque condescending and arrogance(with the politics to match).

I did take note of this, posted by the ICP fan, and I found it suiting of many hate oriented articles here, allow me to just…

“You know what amuses me more though? The fact that most (insert any band)-hate articles show no real depth of knowledge upon the group themselves. Then I scroll down and read the numerous comments sprawling with obscenities and lame criticisms.”

I find that a nearly sublime summary of the hate articles, or for the average poster “omg shit is tite!”.
