I understand that you, as writer that hears material from tens of different bands every week, can be a little jaded and expecting something original. But HWSNB is a solid Swedish melodeath (and truly melodeath. Even though I consider myself to be an IF fanboy I can't argue that anything after Colony or maybe Clayman is melodeath) and I like it for that. Just to mention some high points of the album: Way To Shine - could as well have been on Colony, and I liked Colony VERY much Staying Alive - it's hilarious and it works He Who Shall Not Bleed - the "only good human, is a dead human" just makes you want to listen I agree with Rik, He Who Shall Not Bleed may not be the most innovative record ever, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be good. I understand that you, as writer that hears material from tens of different bands every week, can be a little jaded and expecting something original. Your whole argument seems to be based on the fact that there's nothing original about this style of music any more, which is fair enough, but it's still way better than most of the metalcore wannabes and nu-melodeath of late, and if you're a fan of old In Flames and such then this is the band for you. Was that just a random car picked out of a hat or do you actually know that a cOrolla is reliable? Next time try a Chevy HHR. Hard to get that one wrong. Oh, and maybe I won't be that guy after all - shitty band.
