Not death metal. Not even heavy metal. A good listen, and I completely understand Karl putting it out under a different "brand" than Nile. The Careerbuilder.com one, if we're talking about the same one with the repetitive thing going on was kind of funny the first time it went through it's thing. After that it was annoying.
