ANTHRAX LOOK COLD
Friday, February 6th, 2009 at 12:00pm by Axl RosenbergVince and I were this close to going to see the latest incarnation of Anthrax play last night at some Red Bull snowboarding event. It didn’t quite work out, and knowing now that I would have been freezing my nuts off watching the band play in the coldest fucking weather imaginable, I can’t say I’m exactly filled with regret.
Luckily, Blabbermouth has some video footage of the event – including a performance of “Bring the Noise” with Public Enemy’s Chuck D – so I can at least get a sense of what we missed. The band seems lively enough and this Dan Nelson fellow seems fit for the job, so really, I just have one question: what the fuck is going on with Rob Caggiano?

I love Anthrax and respect what they did with Public Enemy as far as crossing over music genres back in the day blah..blah…blah… But they really need to let “Bring the Noise” die.
What is up with Rob Caggiano? i didnt really notice anything…was there something specific i missed?

I decided the same thing.It was stupid cold last night, so I said fuck it.I read that the whole thing, Snowboarding and Anthrax are airing on NBC on the 15th, in case anyone is interested.
That was actually really good. I didn’t notice anything with Caggiano. And that’s the first decent audio I’ve heard with Nelson on vocals.
Kickass vocals, I’m looking forward to their new album.
Re: Rob Caggiano – Check out 5:20 – 5:34. I guess he took bringing the “Noise” a bit too literally. Ouch.

Nelson performing Madhouse really sounds like Bush on the Greater of Two Evils album. I’m officially looking forward to this album.
