Seriously, they could have at least TRIED to translate some of the orchestral hooks and leads to the live setting, but no. Hell, the only member onstage actually playing an instrument was Fotis, their drummer (I noticed the "Anubis" prerecorded guitar too). Totally let down by their live performance, as opposed to listening to their album at home. It'd be unfair to their laptop to say it was playing "backing tracks." Rather, the rest of the band was playing backup to the MacBook! I know this is late as hell, but I just saw Septicflesh for the first time ever last night on the CoB/Townsend tour — and I must say I agree 100% with this review of their set.

That Satyr though, I did not expect that crotch to hit my face so suddenly but it did. And this crazed fan (who happened to be male) behind me pushed me forward further just to get some. So its definitely kind of a disapointment to hear about all the recorded stuff, i mean i thought with all the orchestral stuff they have on the album you think they might try to incorporate a touring keyboardest at least, and why is Anubis have a recorded guitar begining? I know those guys are a little older now but i doubte they are incapable of hitting the pedal at the right moment. Feminine presence please... she still plays those ultra cheesy keys! That said, Satyr is a rock star now and he's pretty damn sexy at that. The girls at my show were definitely there for that sex machine, even I tickled my fingers across his groin when I had the chance.
