I think if Zakk Wylde didnt talk so much shit about limp bizkit (cuz he was probably jealous of their success like alot of other entertainers) and then went on and made a video with dopey….yeah no hes not a hypocrite…. and if wes just threw in a few solos in their songs if durst didnt rap (even though i think he doesnt really rap in most of the songs like most rappers today the only song where he raps in a traditional sense is in n 2 gether now) and made zombie screams and little bullshit things like that these people would be alot more positive towards them i guarantee that. just ask yourself…. where were this many haters towards limp bizkit ten years ago?..

Douche Baggo – is it really necessary to be such a pant-wetting emo about it? Limp Bizkit didn’t ruin “heavy metal” because number 1 they weren’t heavy metal. That sort of sticks a pork sword up the horseshit of your argument. Number 2, if you get so emo about people who like music that you don’t like and say “fuck this website” when this website is running a highly sarcastic article about the reunion, then clearly your head is so stuffed in My Little Pony books, you can’t even muster a basic argument. Really very embarrassing. Number 3, LB put on some excellent shows and had some cracking tunes. Nookie and Rollin’ always rocked live festivals and were great tunes in their day *for people who liked that music* (which you don’t have to. Perhaps cut your wrists a bit harder next time you are experiencing the pain of being inside your own head. Then we won’t have to listen to your drivel :)

limp biscuit was a catastrophic wirlwind of poop for all heavy music. their fans are the same fans of bands like evanesance, slipknot, mudvayne, linkin park and hed(pe)- just to name a few trainwrecks. they ruined the heavy metal party for everyone. truly good music was shadowed by their giant egos, horseshit melodies and homosexual lyrics. i hate them. i hate all of you that support LB. fuck borland. fuck durst. fuck the rest of the band. fuck this website and fuck you. get a grip on reality you biscit suckers.

I don’t give a fuck what anybody says. Limp Bizkit rocked the 1999 Woodstock. Though the best part WAS the Ministry cover. People talk so much shit about numetal but really that shit saved the day in the 90s. It was a new and fresh sound at a time when grunge was ready to be shot in the head. The big 4 (besides Slayer) were all trying to get on the radio. Sepultura lost Max. Hell even Pantera were on cruz control. Death metal as a whole was stale as fuck. . Besides the underground hardcore scene the overall state of aggresive music was in bad shape. Numetal hit and yeah you could go to some packed shows again with some long hairs and drink, rock the fuck out and “shiit” their were even chicks there. Numetal had a fun heyday and I have some good memories. Then “like all scenes” it got old. But I’ll admit I liked the first 2 Bizkit cd’s. First 2 Soulfly cds, First 2 Korn cds. Damn I just realized that yeah… them bands were only good for 2 cds and then the occassional good track.
I don’t hate anything I ever liked before. Might not listen to it nowadays but you know Michael Jackson Thriller was the shit!

Besides all that. Fuck yeah Wes. Get that fucken money. Tour the world. See some friends. MAKE A LOT OF MONEY playing guitar. I’d jam the fuck outta Nookie for that money.

Anyway, I love how you guys manage to bash bands for ridiculous outlandish shit when in fact some of your own favorite bands wear make-up like it was Halloween.

That last…thing…they did, showed some merit, mainly with the guitar work, and the lack of rapping, but if it’s anything other than a sequel of some sort I’m not even listening to it/giving a shit, to be honest.

So, Wes and Fred are “disgusted with the state of popular heavy music”, eh? Don’t these two tools remember that it was their band who helped make it so disgusting?? That Limp Bizkit helped paved the way for every other poser, wanna-be hack band to put albums out so that frat boy-jock-douches could have a date-rape soundtrack? Yeah, thanks for rushing in and saving us all. I’m sure you guys will turn things around for all of us.

For a second there I thought Borland had a bit of credibility by renouncing his Bizkit ways. Oh well, when the album bombs and the reunion tanks before people even knew it had begun, I’m sure Wes will suddenly discover his muse again and try to prove that he’s really not the sell-out he has proven himself to be. So go ahead Wes, put in your crazy contacts, wear your funny Halloween costumes, bash out those one finger chords and get out there to attempt to lower the collective IQ of society once again. what ive always wanted to know is ……

is it okay that i used to listen to Limpbizkit when i was about 13, and i loved them…. and know i listen to proper thrash/gore/death/crust (age 25), and i look back at that music and feel ashamed…….(i dont like feeling ashamed.)

or is it a once bizkit/always bizkit, thing.
may i be redeemed back into the cool metal club again?
then again i grew up in New zealand (NO DECENT METAL)
all my life,

brought up on sabbath/ledZep/maiden/blues…..
so i guess i developed tastes with thick riffs(sabbath)/trippy drumming(ledzep)/catchy choruses(maiden)/ and white dudes trying to be black(blues)

can also be mislead into thinking LB has thick riffs (7string), trippy drums(something called hiphop??), catchy choruses(NOOKIE-COOKIE..enuff said) and the fuckin obvious tampon.

im hoping i was just staring at the shiny object. im pretty sure i was.

The fact is, when LB came out with 3 Dollar Bill Ya’ll, they were fresh, energetic, and heavy. They weren’t trendy because they were [towards] the beginning of the trend and one of the trendsetters (for better or worse).

Their follow-up album, whatever it was called, wasn’t bad either — incorporating more rock elements and melody (HOWEVER, it also had some TERRIBLE songs that are embarassing to all of humanity, but somehow got them even MORE famous).

Problem for LB is, they were too greedy and stupid to realize that the apparent reality “make shitty stupid pop songs and get more famous” was really a mirage and ended up destroying the band (that along with Durst’s raging ego).

I blame the mass media and the mass amounts of idiots who embraced their shitty music more than their good music (yes, I think they had [some] good music). But I mean…this is a broken record isn’t it? However, not all bands totally sell out and stop making decent music altogether, like LB did. SO I guess in the end, fuck em.

I have to admit… that picture of Wes cracks me up. I don’t know if it’s the bowtie, the small dog, or the black contacts. He always was the best part about that band, and a little too weird for such a pedestrian, trendy group.

I suppose it makes sense, though… Blink 182 and No Doubt are reuniting, so why not Limp Bizkit too? They can all tour together, maybe get Creed to join them.

And maybe someone will bomb one of the venues.
